TwoTellys for 2009
7/09- Writer/Producer/Director Kevin Pothuisje received
2 statues in this year's "Telly Awards" competition. The winning
categories were Video/Film Documentary and Multimedia (DVD application).

6/09 Giant has teamed up with Hodges and Associates to win 2 Gold Awards of Exellence and a Silver Award of Distinction in the Film/Video category at the 15th Annual Communicator Awards. This annual awards competition is sponsored by the International Academy for the Visual Arts.

3/09 Southern Education Foundation helped bring
attention
to their 2008 report on the Alabama high school dropout rate with an 8 minute
mini-doc shot in 1280x720p HD.

9/08 Giant
has acquired the new Sony PMW-EX1 HD XDCam and is now shooting and editing
in glorius 1080p,1080i or 720p full-raster images.
Southern
Environmental Center
6/08-
Post-production has just wrapped on the Southern Environmental Center's new
DVD. Located on Birmingham-Southern College's campus, the S.E.C. will use
the video to spread the word about eco-friendly living and conservation.

3/08-
Producer/Director Kevin Pothuisje scored a
Bronze Telly Award in the 29th annual awards
competition for Compass Bank's internal com-munications show, "Compass
Hollywood".



11/07- The Oasis Stage at the 2007 City Stages Music Festival in Birmingham came alive with the Celtic/Acoustic sounds of After Class. Giant captured their performance and has just completed mastering on their soon-to-be-released DVD.
9/07-
Director Kevin Pothuisje shot and edited a pair of :30 TV spots for Hodges
and Associates of Birmingham for Baptist Princeton- Hoover. Bobblehead football
players collide in the name of sports medicine.
Confederate Memorial Park Grand Opening - Giant Multimedia produced 6 media stations in the new Confederate Memorial Park Interpretive Museum in Clanton, Alabama which opened April 28, 2007. The CMP project focuses on Alabama civil war veterans and was sponsored by the Alabama Historical Commission.

The
media package included 2 DVD-driven touchscreen applications, 2 looping videos
(42" plasma), 2 computer interactive stations:
